The Van Buren County Highway Department and County Engineer's Office is located at 20554 Highway 1 just north of Keosauqua, across from the Keosauqua Sale Barn, with satellite locations in Douds, Stockport, Bonaparte and Cantril. The Highway Department is home to the County Engineer and the Secondary Roads Maintenance Staff. The Highway Department is responsible for maintenance and construction on the county secondary road system, including those in our unincorporated villages.
